76th Avenue North St. Pete Walkways

76th Avenue North is a short residential block in north St. Petersburg. Most of the hardscape calls are the walk from the sidewalk to the porch, not a full driveway replacement.

What the lot needs

Those walks were often set on a thin sand bed between two concrete edges. The middle rocks, the step landing drops, and irrigation overspray keeps the bedding soft. Resetting the same sand does not hold through the wet season.

How we build it

We lift the walk, compact a base that matches the porch and sidewalk elevations, and relay the pavers so the landing is flush and the path sheds water off the house. Existing stones stay if they are still sound.
