79th Avenue South Pinellas Point Walkways
79th Avenue South runs through the south end of Pinellas Point, close enough to the bay that a king tide can leave the swale wet for a day. Entry walks here are short, often squeezed between a screen cage and a neighbor fence.
Walks that stay dry
A walk that is dead level holds water against the stem wall. We pitch the field away from the house, keep a soldier course at the cage footer, and leave a small gap at downspout outlets so roof water is not forced into the joints. Side-yard gates need a flat landing, not a ramp that binds the latch.
Matching what is already there
Most 79th Avenue South houses already have a driveway paver. We pull a sample, match size and color as close as the current run allows, and say so if the blend will show. Base work is the same spec we use on the driveway: compacted aggregate, bedding sand, edge restraint, polymeric sand.
