85th Street North St. Pete Aprons
85th Street North sits in the north St. Pete grid, where a short apron still takes the full weight of a truck and the afternoon storm. A thin sand bed under that apron is why the first pavers rock after one wet season.
What the apron has to do
The sidewalk joint has to meet flush. A lip trips the mower and collects water against the public walk. We cut the field so the pavers sit level with the concrete, then pitch the rest of the apron toward the street or a lawn swale that already works.
The base is compacted aggregate sized for cars, not a patio spec under tires. Edge restraint stays on the private side of the sidewalk so the field cannot creep into the right-of-way.
How we quote it
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. Photos of the apron, the sidewalk joint, and the garage threshold are enough to start. We walk the lot before we lock a number.
