86th Avenue South is one of the last residential avenues before Pinellas Point turns toward the bayfront lots.
Approaches here take guest parking, boat trailers on occasion, and the same sidewalk transition every other south St. Pete street has to meet.
Throat and flare
We rebuild the throat on compacted base, match the sidewalk elevation, and flare the apron so a tire does not drop off a cut edge.
80mm pavers go in the drive and the apron. A 60mm patio stone is the wrong thickness once a vehicle crosses it.
Staging on a tight lot
These lots are not dump-truck friendly. We stage pallets on the drive, protect the sidewalk, and keep the neighbor's swale clear.
