97th Street North St. Pete Side Yards
97th Street North sits in the west St. Pete grid, past 66th Street toward Cross Bayou. Side yards here are often a single gate wide, with an AC condenser, a hose bib, and a neighbor fence that already leans in.
What the side yard has to do
The path has to carry a trash cart and a mower without rocking, stay clear of the condenser, and pitch away from the stem wall. A sand bed under pavers will rut the first wet summer. We excavate, compact an aggregate base, and lock the edge so the field does not creep into the lawn.
Gate swing checked before the first course, so the slab does not block the latch
AC service clearance left open, with the pad pitched away from the unit
Positive drainage to the front swale or a yard drain, not against the stucco
Edge restraint that stays put when the irrigation overspray softens the joint sand
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Photos of the gate, the condenser, and the low spot are enough for a same-business-day reply. We walk the lot before we lock a number.
