Brighton Bay South St. Pete Waterfront Pavers
Brighton Bay is a south St. Petersburg waterfront pocket where drives, side yards, and dock approaches take salt air, king-tide splash, and the occasional boat-trailer turn. PaverForge Hardscapes builds those hardscapes to drain, not just to look finished on install day.
Waterfront sections need a heavier edge. We use salt-tolerant restraint, pin corners twice, and keep polymeric sand out of any open-graded strip that is meant to pass water. A dock approach gets a trapped rinse area only when the homeowner wants a wash-down; otherwise the pitch runs to a swale or existing inlet, not toward the seawall cap.
Trailer tongues and lift pedestals are the usual add-ons. A tongue-jack pad and a pedestal collar can be set in the same field so the daily hardware does not punch a low spot in the bedding sand. Metal edges and umbrella sleeves get a break from the field so rust does not stain the border.
80 mm pavers on any path a trailer or cart will use
Seawall-stair landings tied to the cap without loading the wall
Flush electrical-pedestal collars for lift and dock power
Joint inspection after the first king-tide week
We schedule Brighton Bay with Big Bayou, Coquina Key, and Maximo Moorings. Book a look at paverforge.com/book-online or call 727-490-9798.
