Cedar Street Dunedin Courtyard Pavers
Cedar Street runs through the residential blocks south of Skinner Boulevard in Dunedin. Houses sit close, yards are small, and the afternoon storm has nowhere to go if the courtyard is flat. PaverForge Hardscapes builds and re-levels those courtyards, side walks, and short drives so water leaves the slab and the joints stay locked.
Tight lots and summer rain
A Cedar Street courtyard often doubles as the only outdoor room: a grill, a table, and the path to the side gate. The failure we see is bedding sand that washed toward the neighbor fence, a plastic edge that rolled, and a low corner against the stem wall. We excavate the failed section, compact a real base, and pitch the field about two percent away from the house. Where a downspout lands on the pavers, we tie it to a splash pad or a pop-up so it does not mine the joints.
Walks, steps, and the gate path
Side-yard walks here are often one person wide. We keep a header course so the field does not wander into the AC pad, and we leave a service gap at the condenser instead of pinning stones under the disconnect. One or two steps to a raised lanai get a contrasting nosing so the rise reads in evening light. If the existing stones match, we re-lay them. If they are chalked and slick, we replace the walking surface and keep a darker border.
