Flush Seawall Bench-Anchor Plates
A canal-cap bench is only useful if the bolts can come out later. Paving the cap and burying the anchors means the next repair cuts the walk. A flush plate keeps the walk continuous and the bolts reachable.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets those plates into seawall cap walks in St. Pete Beach, Tierra Verde, and the Pinellas canal neighborhoods we already pave.
What the plate is doing
The plate is a liftable paver bay, or a set of pavers on a frame, over the bench anchor bolts. It sits flush with the cap walk. It is not a cover that sticks up and catches a toe.
The bolts stay dry enough to turn, and the rest of the cap can be a normal paver field with edge restraint and pitch back to the yard, not over the seawall face.
Cap details we do not skip
We mark the anchors before the field is set. The bay is sized to the bolt pattern, not to a catalog square that misses one anchor. Aluminum or stainless hardware belongs near salt water. Ordinary steel disappears.
Drainage still leaves the cap. A plate that ponds is a slip spot. Joint sand around the bay is locked so it does not rattle into the bolt recess.
This is a hardscape detail on a cap walk we are already building or re-laying. It is not a seawall structural repair. If the cap or the bolts are failing, that is a marine contractor's scope before we pave.
