Flush Seawall Courtesy-Light Base Plates
A courtesy light on a seawall cap or dock edge becomes a toe catch once the paver walk covers its base. A flush plate keeps the fixture in a liftable bay so a hose and a cart still cross it.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets those plates on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
What the plate is
It is a framed opening in the cap walk, set flush. The light sits in the recess, not proud of the field. The frame is isolation, not structure for the wall and not a raceway for the conductors.
The marine contractor or electrician owns the fixture, the conductors, and the bonding. We own the paver bay that stays flush and lifts later. We do not grout the lens to the pavers.
What it is not
It is not a repair for a wall that is already rotating, and it is not a substitute for a listed wet-location fixture. Pitch leaves the recess high enough that rinse water does not sit in the bay. Do not cover a weep, a tie-rod end, or a flap gate with the same plate.
PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach. For a courtesy-light plate on an existing cap walk, call 727-490-9798.
