Flush Seawall Crab-Trap Rinse Collars

A crab-trap rinse left on a seawall cap looks fine until the hose puddles on the pavers and a bare foot catches the coupling. A flush collar sets the rinse point level with the cap and gives the water a place to leave.

What the collar is doing

The collar is a recessed sleeve in the cap or in the paver bay beside it. The rinse bib or short hose lead lands inside the collar. The top is flush with the walk so a cart and a bare foot clear it. A weep or a short drain run takes rinse water off the field instead of into the joint sand.

Salt, shells, and the paver edge

Trap rinse carries salt, bait bits, and shell grit. We do not dump that into a planting bed against the house. The collar gets a trapped outlet toward the seawall face or an existing deck drain, and the paver edge around it is restrained so the field does not creep into the recess. Anchors land in sound concrete, not in a patched spall.

PaverForge Hardscapes sets flush crab-trap rinse collars with seawall-side hardscape from St. Pete Beach through the north-county canals. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
