Flush Seawall Dock-Box Recess Plates
A flush dock-box recess plate keeps the seawall-cap pavers level around a dock utility box that still has to lift for service.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets those plates on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work.
The marine contractor owns the box, the conductors, and the bonding. We own the paver bay that stays flush and lifts later.
What the plate is: a framed opening in the cap walk, set flush so a hose and a cart still cross it. The box sits in the recess, not proud of the field.
The frame is isolated from the box so a future pull does not crack the surrounding courses. We do not grout the box lid to the pavers.
Pitch leaves the recess high enough that rinse water does not sit in the bay. A trapped collar takes splash only if the cap has no other outfall.
Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online if the dock box is rocking the cap pavers.
