Flush Seawall Dock-Light Base Plates
Dock lights sit low on a seawall cap or along the land-side walk. Once pavers cover the conduit and the fixture base, the only way to change a lamp or a fitting is to pull the field apart.
What the plate is
It is a small framed opening in the cap walk, set flush so a hose and a cart still cross it. The frame is isolation for the paver field, not the electrical design. The electrician owns the fixture, the wet-location rating, and the circuit. We own the bay that lets someone open it later.
What we do not do
We do not bury a junction in joint sand and call it done. We do not set the plate proud of the walk. We do not claim the plate is a structural repair for the wall.
PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach. For a dock-light plate on an existing cap walk, call 727-490-9798.
