Flush Seawall Dock-Light Conduit Collars

Dock lights on a Pinellas seawall usually leave the cap through a short conduit sleeve. The sleeve is the easy part. The paver field around it is what people trip on, and what holds rinse water against the fixture.

Why the collar has to finish flush

A proud ring catches a hose, a dock cart, and a bare foot. A low ring becomes a cup. We set a paver collar to the cope and to the walking surface, with the sleeve cut so the fitting sits in the bay instead of on top of it.

  • Pitch the collar to the cap scupper or a legal outfall, not into the fixture.

  • Keep the low-voltage splice accessible. A buried connector is not a finished detail.

  • Edge the bay so the field does not creep into the sleeve after a king tide.

What this is not

This is not a power-pedestal sleeve and it is not a bonding-lug box. Dock lights are a low-voltage run. We do not bury the splice to make the pavers look continuous, and we do not pitch the bay back at the house.

How to start

PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach and sets flush collars on seawall caps and dock walks. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online. A photo of the sleeve and the cope tells us if the collar can finish flush.
