Flush Seawall Dock-Step Nosing Collars
The first dock step is where a paver field usually breaks. The nosing sits proud, the joint sand washes, and the tread rocks after a season of foot traffic and wash-down.
PaverForge sets a flush collar at that nosing so the patio meets the step and the edge stays restrained. This is a paver collar, not a new stair and not a change to the seawall.
What a dock-step nosing collar does
It is a restrained opening in the field, finished flush with the patio, sized to the nosing that already exists. Water is not trapped against the step. The collar locks like the rest of the joints.
A boarding-step recess is a different opening. This collar is only the paver edge at the first tread. Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or PaverForge@gmail.com if a canal lot needs that lip gone without tearing up the dock patio.
