Flush Seawall Dolphin-Pile Inspection Plates
A canal dolphin is a cluster of piles with a cap, cutwater, and splice bolts. When the paver walk is laid over that hardware, the next inspection means tearing the field.
What the plate is
A flush plate is a framed, liftable paver panel set in the cap walk. It seats level with the field, carries foot traffic, and comes up when the bolts or the cutwater need a look.
Frame the opening so the surrounding field stays restrained
Keep the plate flush so a cart or a bare foot does not catch an edge
Pitch the walk off the plate so water does not pond on the hardware
Label the lift point so the next crew does not saw the wrong course
Where it belongs
Private Pinellas seawalls and dock walks, not a navigational aid and not a substitute for a marine engineer's inspection. PaverForge Hardscapes sets the plate and the paver field. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
