A flush gangway hinge isolation pad keeps the seawall-cap pavers level around a hinge that still has to move for the ramp.

The marine contractor owns the hinge, the gangway, and the bonding. We own the paver bay that stays flush and lifts later.

The frame is isolated from the hinge so a future adjustment does not crack the surrounding courses. We do not grout the plate to the pavers.

Pitch leaves the recess high enough that rinse water does not sit in the bay.
