Flush Seawall Hose-Reel Recess Plates
A hose reel bolted proud of a Pinellas seawall cap catches lines, toes, and the first storm surge that runs the dock. The cap then chips around the bolts. A flush recess plate sets the reel in the cap and lifts when the fitting needs a reset.
PaverForge Hardscapes cuts and sets these plates so the cap stays walkable and the rinse water does not cut the paver walk behind the wall.
What the recess plate needs
A plate that finishes flush with the seawall cap, not proud of it
A sleeve for the hose and the supply line so the cap is not chased later
A splash landing so rinse water does not cut the pavers behind the wall
Bolts that can be lifted without breaking the cap when the reel is replaced
How we set the plate
We locate the supply, cut the recess, and set the plate so the finished surface matches the cap. The walk behind the wall gets a collar or a pitch so rinse water leaves the field. The plate is marked so the next service call does not have to guess where the sleeve is.
