Flush Seawall Kayak-Rack Base Plates
A flush kayak-rack base plate keeps the seawall-cap pavers level around the bolts that hold a wall-mounted or cap-mounted kayak rack. The plate is a framed bay in the cap walk, set flush so a hose and a cart still cross it when the boats are off.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets those plates on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work. The marine contractor owns the rack, the hardware, and the load. We own the paver bay that stays flush and lifts later. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
What the plate is
It is not the rack. It is the isolated frame around the base so a future bolt check does not crack the surrounding courses. We do not grout the rack feet to the pavers.
Pitch leaves the bay. Rinse water from the boats should not sit in the joints. A trapped collar takes splash only if the cap has no other outfall.
PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach. For a kayak-rack plate on an existing cap walk, call 727-490-9798.
