Flush Seawall Line-Handler Recess Plates
A line-handler recess cut into a Pinellas seawall cap is a small pocket that holds a dock-line hook. Left open, it collects rinse water and salt. Left proud, the mounting plate becomes a trip on the cap walk. The cap spalls around the cut, and the handler loosens.
What the plate is doing
The plate is not trim. It spreads the handler load, keeps the bolts reachable, and closes the recess so hose water does not sit in the pocket. On a cap that already has a paver walk, the plate has to land flush with that field. PaverForge Hardscapes sets the plate with the walk, not after the stone is locked.
