Flush Seawall Line-Locker Recess Plates
A line locker cut into a seawall cap is useful until the lid sits proud of the walking surface. PaverForge Hardscapes sets flush line-locker recess plates so the store for dock lines finishes level with the cap and does not catch a bare foot or a cart wheel.
What the plate is doing
The plate frames the recess, bears on the sound concrete around the opening, and leaves a lift point that does not stick up. It is not a structural repair of the wall. If the cap is spalled or the recess is holding water against the steel, that gets addressed before the plate goes down.
On a private dock the locker usually sits near the cleat run, where lines are coiled off the walk. A flush plate keeps that coil out of the sun path and out of the trip line. Salt hardware is specified for the Gulf, not for an inland gate.
PaverForge installs these plates with other flush seawall collars and access plates on Pinellas canals and open-water walls. Ask about the hardscape and dock-edge scope at paverforge.com/services.
