Flush Seawall Mooring Bollard Base Plates
A mooring bollard set through a finished paver cap will rock the field if the base plate sits proud or if the pavers are cut tight against the bolts. On Pinellas seawalls that plate needs a flush seat and an isolation joint.
What the plate detail does
PaverForge sets a flush plate or collar in the cap so the bollard base bears on its own pad, not on the paver bedding. The field stops at an isolation joint, and a small access margin stays open for bolt checks without tearing up the walk.
This is a hardscape detail around hardware the dock or seawall contractor specifies. We do not design the seawall, the embedment, or the mooring load. We keep the paver cap from becoming the thing that fails first.
How to start a bollard-plate quote
Call 727-490-9798. Send the bollard spacing, a photo of the cap, and whether the plate is new or already bolted down. We serve St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira Beach, and the Pinellas canal lots from the same shop.
