Flush Seawall Outboard-Motor Stand Plates
Canal lots in Pinellas often keep a small outboard on a stand beside the seawall cap. The stand feet sink into a sand-set paver bay, the bolts rust proud, and the cart path trips on the plate.
A flush plate lets the stand come off for service without opening the whole field, and it keeps the cap walkable.
How the plate is set
We cut a recess in the cap or the equipment bay, set a concrete or composite plate flush with the walking surface, and isolate the stand bolts so they do not become a trip edge. The plate is not a structural seawall repair.
Salt air eats unprotected steel. Hardware is stainless, and the joint around the plate is locked so sand does not pump out under the stand. Drainage still leaves the cap. The plate does not dam the scupper.
