Flush Seawall Outboard-Stand Base Plates

An outboard stand screwed to a seawall cap tips, rusts the bolts, and leaves a stump when the motor is in the garage. A flush outboard-stand base plate is a hardscape plate set in the cap or the dock-edge pavers. The stand pins to the plate. When the stand comes off, the plate sits level with the walking surface.

What the plate is doing

The plate spreads the motor weight and the lean of a tall stand, keeps the anchors back from the cap face, and gives the pavers a module they can lift. Receivers sit below finish grade. A flush cover closes them. Water has a way out so the socket does not become a rust cup.

Where it sits

On the land side of the cap, clear of the ladder, the cleat zone, and the cap splice. We do not set it over a weep, a tie-back, or a conduit chase. Salt air in Palm Harbor, Ozona, and Crystal Beach means the stand and the receivers are isolated so dissimilar metals are not locked together wet.

Ask before you drill the cap

PaverForge sets flush plates in seawall caps and dock-edge paver fields across Pinellas. Call 727-490-9798 if the motor stand is scarring the cap.
