Flush seawall pile-wrap inspection windows
A pile wrap is the HDPE or fiberglass jacket a marine contractor sets around a deteriorated timber or concrete seawall pile. The seam and the fasteners are the only place that jacket can be opened later. A patio poured or paved over the seam hides the only inspection point.
What the window is for
A flush inspection window is a removable paver panel on its own restrained frame, set in the walking field directly over the wrap seam. The rest of the patio stays locked. The panel lifts so the splice, the bolts, and the bottom of the jacket can be checked without sawing the field.
The frame is not the wrap. It sits above the cap or the deck, clear of the jacket, so lifting the panel does not load the pile. Mark the window in the as-built so the next owner does not grout it shut.
Where it belongs
One window per wrapped pile that lands under a deck, a courtyard, or a dock landing. Skip piles that stay in open water. Pair the window with a clear path from the side yard so the panel can actually come out. A window boxed in by a built-in bench is not an inspection point.
PaverForge sets these windows when a patio or dock landing crosses a wrapped pile. Call 727-490-9798 before the jacket seam disappears under a locked field.
