Flush Seawall Propane-Locker Recess Plates

A propane locker on a seawall cap is a utility the gas contractor owns. Once pavers cover the cap, a proud locker is a toe catch and a hose snag. A flush recess plate frames the locker so the lid still lifts and the field stays level.

PaverForge Hardscapes sets those plates on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.

What the plate is

A framed opening in the cap walk, set flush so a cart still crosses it. The locker sits in the recess, not proud of the field. The frame is isolated from the locker so a future pull does not crack the surrounding courses. We do not grout the lid to the pavers.

We do not set the tank, the regulator, or the gas line. The marine or gas contractor owns those. We own the paver bay that stays flush and lifts later.

Pitch leaves the recess high enough that rinse water does not sit in the bay. A trapped collar takes splash only if the cap has no other outfall.

If the locker is rocking the cap pavers, call 727-490-9798. We come back to reset the walk once the locker is where the gas contractor says it is.
