Flush Seawall Scupper Splash Collars
A seawall scupper is the opening that lets deck and yard water leave a canal lot. When that opening dumps onto open bedding sand, the patio settles in a ring and the joints go hollow after the first king tide week.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets flush splash collars at seawall scuppers on St. Pete Beach, Pasadena, Shore Acres, and other Pinellas canal streets. The collar is pavers and a tight edge, not a loose gravel halo.
What the collar does
We cut a stable pad at the scupper, pitch it so discharge hits the collar and leaves through the opening, and restrain the surrounding field so sand cannot migrate into the void. The collar stays flush so a cart or a chair does not catch an edge.
This is not a seawall repair and it is not a permit to change the cap. If the scupper is broken or the cap is failing, that is a marine contractor's scope. We tie the paver field to a sound opening.
Ask for a scupper collar
