Flush Seawall Shore-Power Inlet Collars
A flush shore-power inlet collar keeps the seawall-cap pavers level around the inlet a boat cord still has to reach.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets those collars on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work. The marine electrician owns the inlet, the conductors, and the bonding. We own the paver bay that stays flush and can be lifted later.
What the collar is
It is a framed opening in the cap walk, set flush so a hose and a cart still cross it. The inlet sits in the recess, not proud of the field. The frame is isolated from the inlet body so a future pull does not crack the surrounding courses.
We do not grout the inlet cover to the pavers. Pitch leaves the recess high enough that rinse water does not sit in the bay. A trapped splash collar is added only if the cap has no other outfall.
The cord path gets a slight chamfer at the frame so a plug does not catch a paver edge on the way to the boat. We do not bury the inlet or change its height. That is the electrician's detail.
