Flush Seawall Shore-Power Inlet Plates
A shore-power inlet on a Pinellas canal lot often sits in the seawall cap, right where the paver walk wants to run. Once the field is locked over that box, the only way to reach the inlet is to pull pavers. A flush plate keeps one bay liftable.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets those plates on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work. The marine electrician owns the inlet, the cord, and the bonding. We own the paver bay that lets someone open it later.
What the plate is
It is a small framed opening in the cap walk, set flush so a hose and a cart still cross it. The frame is isolation, not structure for the wall and not a substitute for the inlet enclosure. The wall engineer or marine contractor owns the cap and the electrical gear.
How it is built
Locate the inlet with the marine electrician before the walk is locked
Set a rigid frame so the surrounding field can be compacted without dropping into the opening
Keep the plate flush with the cap walk and pitched so it does not become a pond
Leave the inlet cover removable without cutting pavers
What we will not do
We do not relocate the inlet, change the breaker, or bond the dock. If the box is buried, corroded, or sitting in standing water, that is an electrical and marine repair before we pave over it.
