Flush Seawall Snubber-Line Pad Plates
A snubber takes the shock out of a dock line. Once the fitting sits in a paver cap walk, the only way to service it is to pull the field apart, or to leave a bolt proud of the walk.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets a flush snubber-line pad plate on St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and the Pinellas canal lots we already work. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
The plate is a framed bay in the cap walk, set flush so a hose and a cart still cross it. The marine contractor owns the snubber, the line, and the anchorage. We own the paver bay that stays liftable.
We locate the fitting with the marine contractor before the walk is locked. The frame is isolation, not structure for the wall. We do not mortar the bay into the field, and we do not cover a weep, a tie-rod end, or a flap gate with the same plate.
It is not a repair for a wall that is already rotating, and it is not a substitute for the hardware. If the anchorage has failed, the marine contractor leads.
