Flush Seawall Utility-Chase Sleeves
Canal and bay lots in Pinellas often run water and electric from the house to the dock through the seawall cap. A chase that is buried under a finished paver field becomes a cut-out the next time a line is pulled. A chase left proud becomes a trip lip.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets flush utility-chase sleeves in seawall-cap paver fields. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
What the sleeve is
We frame the crossing so the lines stay in a sleeve, and we set a removable paver or metal lid level with the walk. The marine or electrical contractor can open the chase without saw-cutting the field. We do not pull wire or tie into the dock panel. That stays with the licensed trade.
Sleeve location marked before the cap pavers are locked
Lid flush with the walking surface, not a hump at the cap
Edge restraint around the opening so the field does not creep
Pitch that does not pond on the lid
When to call
Call before the cap is paved if a new dock feed is planned, or when an existing chase was paved over and now needs a clean access. Send a photo of the cap, the pedestal, and the walk. We walk the lot before we lock a number.
