A flush seawall wave sensor access plate is a framed bay in the cap pavers that lets a monitoring sensor or data logger be pulled and serviced without saw-cutting the finished field.

The plate sits level with the surrounding pavers, the opening is sized to the sensor footprint, and a removable cover or gasket keeps sand and salt spray out of the recess. We set the base so the plate does not rock when the tide works the wall.
