Flush Seawall Wind-Sensor Pedestal Plates
A flush wind-sensor pedestal plate sets a removable anemometer or small weather-station socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the sensor is stored. Canal lots in Palm Harbor, Ozona, and Crystal Beach add these after a cap repair, not as an afterthought bolted through the coping.
Why the plate is flush
A stub post left in the cap catches a foot, a dock cart, and a line. A plate set to the paver or cap surface closes the socket, sheds water, and lets the sensor come off before a storm. The plate is a finish detail. It is not a structural pile cap and it does not replace a seawall engineer.
What we set
We locate the socket off the walking line, keep it clear of cleats, ladders, and shore-power inlets, and bed the plate so the lid matches the cap. Conduit for the sensor lead is sleeved before the pavers go down. Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or PaverForge@gmail.com if the cap is already open for a paver reset.
