Flush Seawall Wind-Sock Base Plates
A flush wind-sock base plate sets a small courtesy wind indicator on a seawall cap or dock-edge paver field so the socket is not a toe catch when the sock is down. North Pinellas caps already carry cleats, rails, and conduit. Another proud fitting is how a bare foot finds the hardware.
What the plate has to do
The plate sits flush with the cap or the paver surface, with a trapped socket and a drain path so rain and washdown water do not stand in the hole. We do not core a random spot over a tie-rod, a waler bolt, or a live conduit. The plate is a replaceable wearing piece, not a structural splice.
How we set it
PaverForge cuts the opening after the field is pitched, beds the plate on a mortar setting bed or a pinned paver recess, and keeps the edge restraint intact around the cut. Salt air on a Palm Harbor or Ozona wall means stainless fasteners and a plate that can be lifted without tearing the cap.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online. Send a photo of the cap, the nearest cleat, and where the sock needs to read the breeze. We are based in St. Pete Beach and walk the wall before we lock a number.
