Maple Street NE Old Northeast Walkways

Maple Street NE is another short Old Northeast block, a few streets over from the Coffee Pot edge. The walk from the brick street to the porch is the piece that usually needs work.

What the lot needs

Those paths cross a planting strip, a sidewalk or curb, and a porch step that was poured decades before the pavers. If the walk is pitched to the house, water stains the step. If it is high at the street, it becomes a trip lip on the brick.

How we build it

We match both ends, compact the middle, and relay the pavers so the path sheds to the planting strip or the street. Sound stones stay. Cracked units at the step get replaced so the landing is even.
