MLK Jr Street South Paver Approaches
A corridor drive, not a cul-de-sac
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street South, the old 22nd Street South corridor, carries more turning traffic than a Pinellas Point avenue. Houses, small commercial frontage, and alley-loaded pads share the same block.
Delivery trucks and daily turns chew an unrestrained apron. The failure is at the throat and at the alley, not in the middle of a quiet motor court.
Apron and alley pad
We rebuild the street apron with 80mm pavers, a thickened edge, and a restraint that can take a turn. Alley pads get the same base spec, with a pitch that does not send water at the neighbor's garage.
Utility lids stay flush. We do not bury a cleanout or a valve box under the new field.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. Photos of the apron, the alley mouth, and any city sidewalk patch help us price the haul-off.
The shop is in St. Pete Beach. South St. Petersburg jobs are a regular run, not a one-off.
