Pinellas Avenue Tarpon Springs Paver Drives
Pinellas Avenue is the residential spine just off downtown Tarpon Springs, a few blocks from the Safford Avenue storefront walks we already write about. The houses are older cottages and renovated bungalows under oaks, and weekend traffic from the sponge docks spills onto the side streets. PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels those drives so the apron stays put when a guest parks half on the grass.
Shade, sand, and the street throat
Oak shade keeps the field damp, which is good for heat and bad for a thin sand bed. We see joints that pumped out, edges that rolled into the planting strip, and throats that dropped after the city raised a section of curb. The repair is a compacted base, a restrained edge, and an apron that meets the gutter without a toe that catches a tire. Where roots are still active we leave a flexible joint and do not promise the oak will stop growing.
Walks to the porch
Porch walks on Pinellas Avenue are short and often the only dry path in a storm. We pitch them off the slab, set a contrasting nosing if there is a step, and keep the meter and the hose bib in flush collars. A small guest pad beside the drive is fine if it is built as a pad, not as patio stone asked to carry a car.
