Ridgewood Neighborhood Driveways in Clearwater

Ridgewood is an inland Clearwater pocket between Drew Street and Gulf-to-Bay, west of the Keene Road corridor. Lots are deeper than the beach towns, and many drives still sit on a thin sand bed under older concrete pavers.

Roots, aprons, and the city line

Live oaks along these streets heave the field if the base stops at the root plate. We undercut organic pockets, lay geotextile where the soil pumps, and compact crushed-concrete base in lifts. The private field stops at the city apron. We match the existing curb cut instead of paving into the right-of-way.

Garage thresholds get a measured step-down so the slab lip does not become a trip edge after the new field is set. One-way pitch or a light crown keeps water off the house and out of the garage.

Color that hides tire scuff

A darker soldier course at the throat hides hot-tire marks without painting the whole drive. We blend pallets on site so the field does not read as stripes from the street.

PaverForge Hardscapes builds Ridgewood drives with a compacted base and a pinned edge. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
