Seawall Cap Lighting Conduit Sleeves under Paver Decks

Canal and bay lots in Pinellas often add low lights in the seawall cap after the patio is already planned. If the conduit is buried with no sleeve, the next lamp failure means saw-cutting a finished paver deck. We sleeve the run before the field is locked.

Sleeve, pitch, and the cap

The sleeve is a continuous conduit from a junction box on the house side to a point the electrician can reach at the cap, set in the compacted base and not in the bedding sand. Pavers over the sleeve stay a normal field. A small lift-out at the house-side box is the only visible break.

  • Coordinate the sleeve with the electrician before excavation. We do not pull wire.

  • Keep the sleeve above the seasonal water line where the run allows.

  • Do not pitch the patio back toward the house to hide the sleeve.

  • Leave a photo of the sleeve path in the job packet.
