Setting a Pool Solar-Controller Isolation Pad in Pinellas
A pool solar controller and its roof-return sensor sit in the equipment yard, not in the walking field. When the skid is dropped on finished pavers, hose wash and salt drip open the joints under the cabinet.
What we isolate
We cut a pad sized to the controller footprint plus service clearance, set it on compacted base, and hold it off the pool beam with an isolation joint. Sensor conduit and the panel feed get a sleeve before the field is locked, so a later cell swap does not mean tearing the border.
The pad pitches away from the house wall. We do not polymeric-sand the joint hard against the skid skirt, because that skirt has to come off for service.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. A photo of the controller, the nearest paver edge, and the hose bib is enough to tell whether this is a pad cut or a full equipment-yard rebuild.
