Village on the Green Driveway Repairs in Clearwater

Village on the Green is a small Clearwater community of homes built around 1978 to 1980. The drives are short, often shared in feel if not in title, and many have the same age-related failure: a sunk tire path, a loose border against the lawn, and an apron that no longer meets the gutter.

Repair versus full rebuild

Not every Village on the Green drive needs to come out. If the base still proof-rolls and the units are intact, we lift the settled courses, add bedding only where the section is thin, re-compact, and reset the field to the garage threshold. If the sand is gone and the edge restraint has pulled out, a full base rebuild is the honest quote.

  • Match the existing paver before ordering a repair pallet. Color lots drift.

  • Reset the garage threshold so water does not run into the slab.

  • Re-pin edge restraint at the lawn and at any shared side line.

  • Keep the apron flush with the gutter so the city edge is not a trip lip.

These are compact lots. Staging matters. We protect the lawn with mats, keep the dumpster off the neighbor's drive, and haul base out the same day it comes up so the street is not blocked overnight.
