Insurance Claims for Storm-Damaged Pavers in Pinellas
A storm can wash joint sand, lift an edge, or expose a driveway that was already failing. Insurers care about that difference. PaverForge Hardscapes documents the field as it sits, then tells you what is storm damage and what is a base that was never thick enough.
What we photograph before anyone moves a stone
Standing water, washed joints, and rolled edges, with the house and grade in the frame.
The apron, the neighbor's grade, and any drain that backed up.
A small test lift so you can see whether the base is still tight or pumping sand.
Date-stamped photos you can hand to an adjuster without a second site visit.
Re-level vs rebuild after a claim
If the stones are intact and the base is still locked, a re-level and new joint sand is the honest repair. If the base washed out, restacking the same stones on mud is how you file the same claim next season. We write the scope in plain language so the adjuster is not guessing.
What we will not write
We will not sign a letter that says a ten-year-thin install was destroyed by one afternoon of rain. We will document what the storm did. Then we will bid the work that actually belongs on this lot.
