Re-Sanding Pinellas Pavers After a Pressure Wash

A spring pressure wash makes a Pinellas patio look new for a weekend. It also blows the joint sand out of the field. Leave those joints open through June and you get weeds, ants, and edges that start to wander. PaverForge Hardscapes re-sands and resets the lock instead of selling a full tear-out the owner does not need.

Wash first, then decide

If pavers are rocking, the problem is the base, not the sand. Re-sanding a pumping field is a short-term cosmetic. We walk the surface, mark hollow spots, and only re-sand the areas that are still seated. Settled panels get lifted and re-laid.

  • Sweep and refill joints after the wash water is gone

  • Use a joint sand that matches the original color as closely as the stock allows

  • Compact the field so the sand drops before you broom the last pass

  • Do not seal the same day if the joints are still wet

When sealing waits

Sealer on damp, half-empty joints traps moisture and turns the surface blotchy. If you want sealer after a wash, the joints have to be full and dry. We will tell you when that is, not when it is convenient to upsell.
