100th Avenue South Pinellas Point Pool Decks
100th Avenue South sits near the southern tip of Pinellas Point, close to the Skyway approach and the open bay. Pool cages here take wind-driven rain, and decks that were laid tight to the screen track pond at the house. PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds those decks and the equipment pads beside them.
Deck details that matter on the point
Coping should not be a hard lock to the paver field. We leave a movement joint at the beam and at the cage track so the deck can shift without popping the first course. Equipment pads need a setback from the screen so heat-pump exhaust and salt-cell maintenance are not standing in the walking path.
Drainage on these lots often runs to a yard inlet or a seawall scupper, not to the street. We slope the field to the existing drain and do not bury a cleanout under a soldier course. Where the old base is sugar sand, we excavate and compact a new base before the units go back down.
