118th Avenue North Corridor Driveways in Pinellas Park

118th Avenue North cuts across Pinellas Park as a commuter and commercial spine, not a quiet neighborhood street. Lots that face it take more turning traffic, more utility cuts, and a stormwater system that was built for the road first.

PaverForge Hardscapes treats that corridor as its own job type from our St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.

What the corridor does to a driveway

A 118th Ave N apron often meets a wider sidewalk, a swale or curb inlet that already has a job, and neighbors who use the same curb cut geometry. If the field is set flat so the new pavers look level with the garage, water sits on the slab edge or sheets toward the sidewalk.

  • 80mm field on a compacted aggregate base sized for cars, not a patio spec under tires

  • Positive pitch to the street or a legal low point, not toward the house

  • Soldier-course or Belgian-block edge that can be maintained after a utility cut

  • Joints that can be re-sanded after storm season instead of washing out in week one

How to start

Send a street-facing photo of the apron and one photo of the garage threshold. We walk the lot before we lock a number. Call 727-490-9798.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
