13th Avenue North Neighborhood Driveways in St. Petersburg
13th Avenue North cuts through west-central St. Petersburg between older bungalows, mid-block duplexes, and later infill. Driveways here are usually short, often side-loaded, and they share the same sugar-sand and oak-root conditions as the rest of this grid.
PaverForge Hardscapes builds and repairs interlocking drives on this corridor from St. Pete Beach. We look at garage-slab height, sidewalk pitch, and where stormwater leaves the lot before we set the first course.
What these lots usually need
Many 13th Avenue North lots sit close to the sidewalk. That means a short throat, a tight turning radius, and little room to stage pallets. We plan cuts, edge restraint, and the city apron so the field does not pond at the garage or dump water onto the neighbor.
Oak roots and old irrigation laterals are common under existing concrete. We undercut organic pockets, set geotextile where the subgrade is mixed, and compact crushed-concrete base in lifts instead of chasing a thin slab overlay that will crack again.
