14th Avenue South St. Pete Paver Drives
14th Avenue South runs through the same south St. Petersburg block grid as the avenues we already rebuild, but the lots are their own job: short drives, shared side yards, and concrete that has cupped at the gutter.
Why thin concrete fails here
Sugar sand under a 4-inch slab pumps out at the apron after a wet season. We remove the failed slab, rebuild the base, and lock 60 mm or 80 mm concrete pavers with edge restraint and polymeric sand. The field pitches to the street, not back to the garage.
Walks to the front door stay on the same base spec so the entry and the drive do not settle at different rates. Utility lids and cleanouts get a paver border so the lid can still open.
How to start
Call 727-490-9798. A few photos of the low spots and the sidewalk frontage are enough for a same-day reply. PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels pavers on 14th Avenue South and across Pinellas from the St. Pete Beach shop.
