164th Avenue North Redington Beach Courtyards
164th Avenue North is a short barrier-island street in Redington Beach, between Gulf Boulevard and the Boca Ciega Bay side. Lots are narrow, the sand is loose, and the courtyard is often the only flat outdoor room between the house, a screen cage, and a side-yard shower.
Island courtyard spec
PaverForge Hardscapes does not skim pavers over beach sand. The courtyard is excavated, fabric is laid where the sand pumps, and the base is compacted in lifts before bedding. Pitch leaves the house and the cage threshold and finds a drain or the side swale. A shower pad, if it shares the field, gets a trapped drain so rinse water does not sit in the joints.
Access is from Gulf Boulevard, so material staging is planned for a short street. Edge restraint is continuous on the open sides. We leave a sleeve for a future hose bib or low-voltage light rather than cutting the field later.
