1st Street North Storefront Walks in Downtown St. Petersburg
1st Street North in downtown St. Petersburg is a storefront and office-edge street. It is not First Avenue North and it is not the warehouse-arts blocks on First Avenue South. Lots here share tight sidewalks, meter boxes, and door sills that were set before the current gutter line.
What we spec on 1st Street North
Walks get a slip-resistant texture, a two-percent pitch off the building, and a pinned edge that can be opened for a future utility cut. We isolate the field from the building weep-screed so stucco moisture does not wick into the joints. Delivery and valet traffic means we will not sell a patio-thickness unit on a stall that takes cars.
Historic-adjacent storefronts often need a photo packet for the permit file. We document existing grades, lid locations, and the sidewalk joint before excavation.
Schedule and access
Downtown staging is planned around meter hours and neighboring businesses. Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online. Send the storefront width, the door sill height, and any ponding at the sidewalk.
