25th Avenue South St. Pete Paver Approaches

25th Avenue South sits in the same south St. Pete grid: bungalows, a few raised slabs, and drives that have been patched more than once. The usual call is a settled throat at the sidewalk or a walk that rocks after oak roots.

Roots, patches, and a base that was never there

A concrete patch poured over sand will telegraph every soft spot once it is covered with pavers. We undercut organic pockets, cut a clean joint at sound concrete we are keeping, and compact aggregate in lifts. Root heave gets a real decision: protect the tree and bridge the field, or stop the work and say so.

Pitch stays off the house. These lots can hold water against a low stoop after a summer storm if the new field is set to look level with the slab.

HOA and city details

Most packets on this street are simple: color, pattern, and a note that the sidewalk and apron stay a city detail. We do not grind or raise the public walk. If the city sidewalk is already a trip edge, that is a separate call to the city before we lock our field to it.

PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach and runs these lots with the rest of Pinellas. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
