30th Avenue North Driveways in West-Central St. Petersburg
30th Avenue North runs through west-central St. Petersburg between the Tyrone grid and I-275. Lots are mid-century, live oaks sit on the property line, and many drives share a narrow side yard with the neighbor.
PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds and re-levels driveways here from our St. Pete Beach shop. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
What these lots actually need
Typical calls are a settled concrete ribbon, a heaved edge along the oak drip line, and a throat that ponds after a summer storm. We undercut organic pockets, compact crushed concrete in thin lifts, and keep a two-percent pitch off the garage slab toward the street — never toward the house.
Utility locates happen before excavation because older laterals and irrigation laterals are common on this grid.
Access and staging
30th Avenue North is a through street with limited stacking. We stage pallets on mats, protect the neighbor strip, and sequence cuts so one car can still park overnight.
Send two photos of the drive and the garage threshold. We walk the lot before we lock a number.
